Feeding Rural America: AFBF’s “Harvest for All” initiative donated 25.3 million pounds of food in 2022

AFBF Young Farmers & Ranchers Chair Matt Fimon joined us Monday on Market Day Report to speak on the Bureau’s achievement.

The American Farm Bureau’s ‘Young Farmer And Rancher Program’ was recently recognized for its successful ‘Harvest for All’ initiative, which helps address hunger in Rural America by harnessing the collaborative power of grassroots farmers and ranchers.

The AFBF reports that program participants donated approximately 25.3 million pounds of food to local food banks in 2022.
