The 96th National FFA Convention & Expo is not just about celebrating agriculture and leadership, but also a time for members of the Future Farmers of America from across the country to come together and give back to the community.

The convention — which will be held in Indianapolis, Indiana this year — is once again offering the opportunity for the students in attendance to engage in acts of service through FFA’s National Days of Service.

As FFA members flood into Indianapolis for the convention, they come ready to attend workshops and events as well as to make a positive impact on the host city by participating in community service. Through the convention registration process, attendees have the chance to sign up for service shifts at local non-profit organizations.

The service opportunities are available at two times on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 2-3, in the morning (8:30 a.m. -12 p.m. ET) and the afternoon (1:30 p.m. - 4 p.m. ET). Of the four-day event, these two days are dedicated to giving back to the city that is hosting this grand event.

Attendees can easily register for service through the convention registration process to take part of this wonderful initiative. Simply select the morning or afternoon shift that fits your schedule on either day. It is a fantastic way to make the most of your convention experience while giving back to the community.

For additional details and to register for service, visit the National Days of Service page on the FFA website. Here, you’ll find all the information you need to join this inspiring effort!
