While the cost of most groceries is on the rise, it is the price of eggs that is grabbing consumers’ attention.
The national average price is up 49 percent from last year, and in some instances, shoppers are paying nearly double last year’s price.
Brian Moscogiuri, Eggs Unlimited Global Trade Strategist, spoke with RFD-TV’s own Janet Adkison about how big of a contributor HPAI is to these prices, if any other factors are at play, and if he is seeing any chances in demand as prices continue to soar.
